The garden in full bloom.

Often plants are substituted in a Bible Garden because the specie or variety may be difficult to obtain, but when a substitute is made the same genus and family is used so the plant will look very much like the one from the Holy Land.

On the following slides, the plant's name is given along with the plant for which it is substituted, if so, followed by a brief description and biblical references.

The reference volume used is the Harper Study Bible, Harper & Row Publishers Inc. 1964, assigned to Zondervan Publishing House 1965.
